Wet walk

Met up with the daughters for a walk in Trimley, a 7 mile circular walk down to the Orwell River. As soon as the river we could see rain clouds heading our way, but we also saw loads of Wherry boats, some in full sail. I'd completely forgotten there was an event on at Pin Mill.

Clouds caught up with us and within minutes we were all drenched, and while part of me dried out my feet and legs didn't as most if the footpath was flanked on both sides by knee high grass.

Short drive back into Ipswich and lunch in The Brewery Tap, a pub tucked away along the side of the River.

Whoosh weekend racing away- could definitely do with an extra day between Saturday and Sunday!
