Aerial Silhouettes

I was out in the garden just before bed last night - watching a bat flit up and down - and I was struck by the variety of shapes and sizes of the TV aerials along the row of houses.

The light was almost gone (22:45) but there was enough to create these silhouettes. There were some clouds drifting around but they would not come into frame to break up the flat sky!

Our village sits in a dip so TV reception is a bit awkward - you need to have a good height on the masts to 'see' over the hills to get Yorkshire stations. Some houses have shorter masts pointing to a North East transmitter - the hill in that direction is a bit smaller!
