Woods and Whites At Arundel

A visit to Arundel today and had a rather large lunch. Where we often go for lunch is the only place I have ever seen Daisy's Dollops for sale...... They are very large toffees looking like a cow pat.... Needless to say I've never had one!

After lunch we wandered about and arrived eventually at Mill Road. Arundel Bowling Club is in this road and passers by can often see matches in progress. We heard a mother say to her child that this was for old people! I certainly couldn't see anyone under the age of 60! This is a game I know precious little about except there are woods and you wear whites. I used to work with a lady who was a formidable Bowls player who had won numerous cups and went every week in season.
