Saint Christopher?

My fabulous friend Chris is over from New Zealand for the first time in four and a half years so I'm trying to see him as often as I can while I have the chance. We've had a couple of catch-ups over the last fortnight but I was able to introduce him to Spokes for the first time this afternoon when we all met up for a cup of tea in Leaf - where the light fixtures provided a perfect photo opportunity!

I've known Chris for 27 years and he's been a great friend and source of support and encouragement over that time. He's a fascinating and funny person and I'm always delighted to shoot the breeze with him. I just wish he didn't live so far away!

Spokes and I are off tomorrow for a few days away from it all in the country. I'm not sure whether we'll have internet access while we're gone so I may or may not be able to blip or keep up with your journals over the next week but, either way, I hope you all have a good one! See you soon. x
