Story-time.

Stories and reading are just so important. Stories achieve so much... they can entertain a not-so-well child[as in this pic],stories educate and can transport us wherever the author wishes.I just love stories. At this months book club we all liked Tim Winton's "Cloudstreet" set in fifties Australia.Then this evening we had a folk singer in town who sang tales of early settlers and criminals which was very interesting. And I reflected on dairies I have which my Dad managed to secretly write whilst he was a prisoner of war during World War 2. Now I am writing a daily story with blip entries.....I better get finished so I can go and read my book !
