Magical morning

Taken on a morning row (not too early) in the mist. So quiet. Magical. This flag just appeared mysteriously on this rock -the people on the nearby island aren’t here-… on Canada Day (July 1). This rock is covered at high tide (this is about mid-high)- so it’s quite a good reminder for boaters who don’t have local knowledge but I’ve never seen anything there before. “Turtle rock”, a bird sanctuary, is behind and then Saltspring Island. (looking SW) Just a bit of “poster edge” to define things.
The sun came out in the afternoon.
Family, with extra kids, arrive tomorrow….
