Deep sea diving

Today we spent all day at Underwater World here in Mooloolaba. Son C decided to go swimming with the sharks, but first he had to learn how to scuba dive. Unfortunately he was the only well one in our family to do it, as the rest of us are suffering from various forms of a head cold. We watched C from the viewing tunnel.

Not only did he swim with sharks, but also the most massive sting-rays. They were
very impressive - and I have to say it was all very concerning see our son amongst these dangerous sea creatures.

What a fantastic experience C had today. He got a disk full of professionally taken photos while under water, but today you have my photo taken through the tunnel - it's not that clear, but is a good record of C's achievement.

It was another lovely sunny day today, although there was a cool breeze for most of the day.

The sun has just gone down - just about the end of two day of our holiday in Australia.
