Fields of blue

The poppies have given up their bright redness and now it is the turn of the flax fields to amaze us with their intense colour.

Two fields, adjacent to Farewell Lane in Burntwood, Staffs, are shimmering with blue.

I warn you - they are very hard to capture. The naked eye understands and enjoys the beauty, but through the lens, it somehow doesn't quite have that same magic.

But here I'm trying to give you a flavour - I can assure you, it's worth a visit.
