Loch Achilty

The smell of the tuna sandwiches was irresistible and out he came, before Poppy ate them all.

Loch Achilty is just the perfect spot for a picnic, shady, peaceful and beautiful. The dogs love paddling about in the water. We often stop there on the way back from a longer walk at Silverbridge or Torrachilty. I have seen wedding parties there on a Saturday having their photos taken on the shores of the loch.
