Dunnottar Castle

I visited Dunnottar Castle today, i was very excited, William Wallace, Mary Queen of Scots and King Charles II have also been here and the Picts used this site before them.
During the 9th century King Donald was killed here defending the castle from the Vikings.
It was in this castle that Cromwell and his army tried to get their hands on and destroy the Scottish Crown Jewels during an 8 month siege, they weren't successful.
Liked this place and the sea air, the gulls not so much.
Really enjoying staying in Arbroath, the fish is lovely.
