Songs of the times...

Blip today is for two reasons. 1). To show off our new dining table (it extends you know) and er one new chair as I couldn't get the others in the shot & 2. (And this was the main reason) to highlight my varied music taste whilst I worked away - on my new table. For many years I have been mocked and rather harshly criticised (mostly by 3yr olds) for my taste in music. Lady A, it would be for to say, is the worst offender. She delights in showing off my CD collection (& tapes) to my friends but do I care? No I do not. Why? Because I (and my my mum) am very proud of the fact that I enjoy all kinds of genres of music from Bannarama (Venus, I heard a rumour) to Michael Crawford (Phantom of the Opera) to Johnny Hates Jazz (Shattered Dreams) to Oasis (Wonderwall) to The Beatles (A Day in the Life) to Guns n Roses (Sweet Child of Mine) to OMD (Pandoras Box) to Lionel Richie (Hello..) to Take That (Nobody Else) to Nik Kershaw (the Riddler) to The Supremes (Ain't no Mountain High Enough) to Danger Zone (Top Gun classic) to The Rolling Stones (Gimme Shelter) to Simon & Garfunkel (Bridge over.. I know all the words and can do the high bit) to Pet Shop Boys (Domino Dancing) to Carpenters (Sing) to Barry Manilow (Mandy) to Nirvana (Smells like Teen Spirit) to Elton John (Daniel) to S Club 7 (reach for the stars) to the Eastenders theme tune.... the end
