Chucking it Down!

What a day of weather! We had a huge storm again during the night, meaning I had to go up in our roof terrace to bring in the sun bed cushions and out on the balcony to being in the cushions from there too. Unheard of weather for July. The chicas were up early this morning and out down to visit the cathedral in the gothic area. They weren't allowed in though as they were wearing strappy tops! I never even thought about that! Then Sophie had an incident with a sandal - the strap burst, so they were home again by 1.30pm and had their packed sandwich lunches on the front balcony. The weather was so miserable that they spent the afternoon there. Early evening they headed out again and up to Park Guell. They had only been gone 20 mins when the heavens opened again and there was torrential rain again. Poor things - they spent their time sheltered in a shop in the park and it was so black they couldn't even take photos! Anyway, back again they appeared at 10pm, still giggling and they've all just had showers and about to have a bite of dinner.

Bb and I were up and down last night again with our tummies and so we haven't eaten anything today apart from dry biscuits this afternoon and two boiled potatoes each tonight, taken from the big bowl left for the chicas. We're now taking different medicine and so fingers crossed for tonight. Bb has been in bed all today - not like him at all - he must need the rest. I've only been out locally for essentials.
