Today's the day ............................. for a coincidence

This is Melanie - my elder son, Tim's fiancée.

Today it's her birthday and we've just been out for a meal in a nice restaurant to celebrate the occasion. By coincidence it's also my younger son, Rob's birthday today. He lives up in Edinburgh so we've just had to wish him a happy birthday by phone.

Tim's birthday is on the 9th October - which is exactly the same day as Melanie's big sister Lindsay. So if you've managed to keep up with this conversation - that means that the two brothers have the same birthdays as the two sisters.
