Slower pace today, later rise, brunch...throw some boys in a shower...no school holidays do not mean you don't wash! Emails and then off to a birthday party.

We often miss Chloe's birthday as it falls in the week we are on holiday but the holiday ban this year means we are here for the Party. It was good to catch up with everyone and the boys had a good time on the bouncy castle and getting their faces painted...well the wee lads had their faces painted:-). Es enjoyed herself too but she's way too old now for bouncy castles:-/

As we headed home we were re-routed as the Queen's Baton Relay was heading into Bannockburn. We dropped the car at the house and then headed up to see if we could see the relay but we were too slow. So then we headed in the other direction and caught up with it at Beechwood Park...and it was a case of now you see it...now you don't :-).

The folk turning out to see it wasn't all that great in the town yesterday...I think the villages put on a better effort.
