New York- 1: Look carefully
It's my turn to blip snow! I went to Allegany State Park (a lovely jewel in western NY) early in the morning after waking up before dawn with jet lag. A group of deer were walking on the ice - that would have made a great pic but before I could get the right lens on the camera, they moved off. I followed but they ran off before I could get a picture - except for this one small doe. She wandered around for a while near the road and I took a few pictures out the car window. Then suddenly when I looked in the viewfinder, she was gone. That is until I looked closer and saw that she had bedded down under this tree.
