El Brujo

I built this cairn below high tide line on the beach at El Brujo, near Huanchaco, Peru. El Brujo is an ancient site where shamans controlled the forces of El Nino during the time of the Moche Civilization between 100 and 800 AD.

The sea was powerful there and the stones were beautiful. Where the beach was steep, the sound of the rolling stones as the waves receded was just like a rain stick.
