Birthday candle

Today is our son's 30th birthday and he is having cancer treatment. Not the way any of us expected this milestone to be, but illness is not something we expect. He is responding well to treatment and we will celebrate his birthday when we next cross the Atlantic to see him. We had a 'St Nicholas Church' when he was born, and have another one now, so the candle and his recovery are placed in the capable hands of the patron saint of children.
