A cooling dip

The labradors we often walk with swim in the pond, but Fergus' legs are too long so he has to be content with paddling. He would really prefer the muddy ditch at the other side of the path, and I would prefer he stayed dry, so we compromise and he has a cooling dip on a hot day.
