Welder

A really wet day - so we visited the Threlkeld quarry and mining museum - it's a wonderful location for textures, colours, patterns and abstracts - long been a favourite place of LPH guests. They are working on extending their workshop, and were welding plates on these roof steels. We got the opportunity to photograph the chap welding, but were advised not to look directly at the welding operation - either directly, or through the cameras; as it can leave you with hot spots in your vision for a while.
