MEET ELSI!

My retirement present. I have just collected her, and thankfully she did fit in the back of my Micra, which will broaden my horizons no end, and hopefully lessen my broader bits in time.

I put a deposit on her before my holiday, and then my work colleagues gave me a gift voucher towards her as a leaving present. And I have a phone call to make to a Blipper in a few minutes as another deposit had been paid towards the balance unbeknownst to me while I was away! Naughty, lovely friend. I will be practising hard on the hills between our two villages. There are an awful lot of gears to get used to though. I'm sure my last bike only had 3, and I must remember to use both brakes on my next practice run!
