Anna's last day
So since Anna had to leave today, there was no rest for the weary and we were right back at the fun this morning. We went to Beaver Street Farmers Market and found the watermelon Mecca. There were literally watermelons as far as the eye could see, and we ended up buying 4 for $10! We also bought lots of other summer fruits and had fun wandering around and speaking a little Spanish.
We went to Publix to get ingredients for the Spring Rolls we wanted to make for dinner and I remembered that my baby was the size of an avocado. So I had Anna take my picture in the store with the little nugget. To me it looks so big! It feels like not that long ago it was saying the baby was a blueberry. An avocado is quite the step up!
We got back home, made delicious spring rolls, and headed out again to the soap making class we had a Groupon for. It was kind of a fiasco in there, but it was interesting to learn that is how soap is made. I had to bring it home and let it cure for 6 weeks! Um, excuse me, but does that seem like a really long time to anyone else? I am going to completely forget about it in like 3 days. Oh well, it was fun to get to spend time with my friend. I'm excited to go visit her in Asheville soon!
