Wimbledon and Watermelon

This Sunday church was cancelled because they wanted us to be "on location". Ok cool, so does watching Wimbledon count? Haha, there was nothing else for us to do that morning, so we embraced it, knowing we would spend the afternoon with the family. I got the urge to actually make my husband some real meals this week and headed over to the grocery store because I couldn't stand to watch the third hour in a row of tennis. I got home and guess what, it was still on! So I got to work making tomato basil soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. Mmmmmmm.
Soon enough it was time to head over to the Knowles' house. I packed the new and very cute maternity bathing suit I have, and loaded up in the car. We swam for a few hours and eventually it was dinner time. There was spiral cut ham, coleslaw, sweet potatoes and lemon bars for dessert. Summer time at it's finest. It was fun to hang out at chat with the family. Christi is due in 6 weeks! I'm so excited she is a little ahead of me because I am going to be watching her like a hawk, I know nothing about taking care of babies!
