Shopping, Sales and Summer
This morning we had plans of going to Riverside to window shop and enjoy the beautiful weather. We were even going to go to the Riverside Arts Market that only is open on Saturday mornings. Well, all that changed with a little ringing from Jimmy's pager. I was honestly a little bummed this time, but decided to make the best of it and go anyways.
I went to my favorite little antique store and browsed around for awhile. I found these scrabble letters and spelled out our future daughter's name (if it is a girl that is). I had to buy it because it was so cute. I was still hoping Jimmy would be done really soon so I went next door to one of the best restaurants in the city called the Blue Moose Cafe and ordered a drink while I waited. Well my waiting turned into another text from Jimmy saying they were about to do another patient!!! I decided to order a Cuban sandwich and figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my day.
Then Sherry texted me and asked what I was doing today. I texted back saying I was free and asked if she wanted to go shopping with me. I still only had a couple clothes that fit me and needed a few more things. We ended up meeting at the mall and getting a good number of clothes. I am definitely adding to my collection, it is actually kind of fun!
Jimmy met us back at his mom's house for dinner and to just hang out. Overall it was a great day that started one way and turned into something completely different, but I had a great time and wouldn't go back and change it even if I could.
