running.............

Beautiful day today so we headed out in the morning to climb Luviri ridge. A wonderful hike with many wild flowers although a lot of the forest has gone due to deforestation. We came upon a small camp where some of the forest workers stay and the children came to greet us! I was really surprised and delighted as they literally wanted to say hello and were not looking for money or pens as most children nowadays do!

The scenery was fabulous - unfortunately it was not quite clear enough for us to see the lake but it was stunning anyway and we didn't mind! Back to Mzuzu this evening.........
