Light and dark

It wasn't so much the subject matter but the contrast in darkness and light that appears on the coat of the cat and on the garden around it that I was drawn to. I like the way the cat is sprawled out on the ground with part of it's body in shade and the back half in light. I had been out in the back garden enjoying the sunshine for a bit...I wish I had been able to stay there al day like the cats just lazing on the lawn!
