Check this out!

It's not often I blip similar images two days in a row but it's been a miserable afternoon and their were only two rays of light. The first one was a visit from Cymbeline and the second was a visit from this beautiful lorikeet who had come to check out the Billabong.

Just before I managed to catch this shot, three of them had been sitting on the edge of the tank having a good old slurp. It's encouraging to think that they've worked it out that while I'm away they still have a reliable source of water. Even in winter our wild life need to drink!
