Sporting Success!

Sports day today. The sun shone, and all involved seemed to have a wonderful time. Amy always does quite well in events, and indeed she came first in her vortex event. But my surprise of the day was James winning his standing long jump... didn't know he had it in him!

James, wearing his first place rosette, was going to be my blip, until it was announced that Amy and James's house, Barnes Wallis, had won the overall event. As Amy is joint house captain with her friend Charlie, they got to go up and get the House Cup on behalf of the house. What a great end to their last sports day at primary school!! Well done guys! X
