Golden beets....

Market day again! I was tired before i even go there.....but you put on your pleasant face, nice greetings etc.....and drink a cappuccino! As soon as it was almost 11 am the place was flooded with people! Peter has the stall next to me, with amazing produce.....i took a few shots of his beets - within 10 minutes this image would have been impossible....he sold out of beets within the first 20 minutes! I was so glad i took a few moments to step outside my table and have a quick look around! Anyway, for some odd reason pottery wasn't high on folks list of things to purchase, so i think i managed to hit an all time low in terms of sales....$80!!!! no worries, i know that partly it's cos i have no: mugs, cups, wine cups, mixing bowls, double dishes......yeah i know, what the hell did i have on my table???? the kiln is presently at 500 degrees so it'll be unloaded within the next few hours. Next week i'll have a very full and abundant table....sales better be up!!!!

After the usual grocery shopping....and wine shopping....i hit the bed and read for all of 10 minutes before i was snoring away! sheer bliss. i feel like a complete new person and can actually be a civil and happy person at dinner time!!!

And it has been a hot and gloriously sunny day!
