Aprendo español

Today I had my third spanish lesson woth my host family. I have just covered words that I was learning in second semester Spanish. Tomorrow we start the past tense which will be a bit of review and so.e new stuff too. I also picked up the atlas de anatomía humana on the street for $16 (a steal!). This will come in handy if I ever want to bring my spanish and biology interests together. Learning a new language is quite challenging and not being able to cominucate can be frustrating. Thankfully my house mom, Ana Maria is a Spanish teacher and is able to help me with common phrases and terms. On a side note, I was very sad when Holland lost the fútbol game. Everyone over here was overjoyed and there was quite the commotion going on in the city square.
