Life with Alice

At the Beach

Hot days and mum had to come up with a beach for dogs without poisonous algae. We ended up at this abandoned, now water-filled quarry, remembered from wintertime geocaching. When we arrived, at least four other dog families were already there, making the tiny beach very much dog saturated.

A Lapland dog was already swimming in a buoyancy jacket and with a cord attached. I played at the edge of the water and went out as far as I could walk to get snacks. Two super short swimming attempts were made. Very splashy and somewhat scary.
