The best part of going on a roadie is not knowing where you'll end up.

Last night we stayed at the Mapua Leisure Park, a dress optional holiday camp. Our kids thought we were mad perverts but luckily for them the nudy part of season is finished and everyone was respectable.

We ended up tonight at the Huranui Hotel in North Canterbury. It claims to have the oldest running consecutive liquor license in the country. In true country pub style they had chatty middle aged publican, excellent roast of the day and quaint pub bedrooms complete with a bible.
