My Time Abroad

Public Transport

Day 2 weather was no better than day 1's. Unsure of the bus system, me n Blythe walked over to this mall down the street. The rain settled down but the wind made my eyes tear. The Albany Mall was ill, it was a Westfield but I barely recognized any of the stores. It had a kiosk called, "United Sweets". It was all brand name American junk food and candy (lol).
I tried my first iced coffee! $6.00!
It had an ice cream-like substance at the bottom and they put whipped cream and a piece of chocolate on top.
We messed up the bus on the way home and some girl who could tell we were lost had to help us out. We waited 45 min in the cold wind for the next damn bus to come and finally made it back to our flat.

BUT later on we pretty much conquered public trans. We went into the actual city of Auckland which took 3 buses (we had help from the public trans website) and we made it home without messing up.

Auckland was increddds. We ate at The Blue Breeze and I ordered my first legal beer, "The Tiki Blonde". Beautiful city that I'm excited to enjoy when the suns out/weather's warmer. This storm needs to pass.

Jet lag had me tired at like 7pm. We met one of our flatmates though, Amanjot. He seems nice. Pumped to meet people at Orientation tomorrow.
