Undoubtedly true, but what if the person who first saw a rose, had decided to call it skunkweed. Would we still pay £50 for 6 on Valentine's Day?

Expensive perfumes are often made with essence of jasmine, rose, and orchid. But if Coco Chanel had put oil of snotflower in her No.5, would it be quite so iconic?

(Sometimes, Shakespeare just didn't think things through.)

So how did Blippers choose a name for their journal? It seemed that some used their own names, some used their animals' names (some dogs were apparently writing their own entries!) and others were inclined to the more exotic, or mysterious....The Dark Lady, Lightsight, the Sandwalker, etc.
