Hospital Door

We are back in the land of doors and textures. Everywhere you look outside the main center in Patzcuaro, there is either an interesting door or a great looking wall. The trick is getting the right light. So far, like today, I have determined that shade is better than sun. I think that is mostly because I have been shooting these during the day rather than when the sun is low in the morning or afternoon. My afternoon shooting is normally thwarted by the rain and the one time I bicycled in the early morning the streets were not aligned correctly with the rising sun so they were in shadow anyway. Sounds like I am going to have to keep working on finding the right time, right place.
