Face
The people of Patzcuaro have incredibly interesting faces. Just about every one I see has so much character, much more so than other places we have visited in Mexico. I am constantly attempting to capture their essence, sometimes more successfully than others. This gentleman, for example, was touching up the paint on the mugs he had for sale when we rolled up to purchase some gourds. He was busy establishing a price with my wife while I shot away. I'm pretty sure I could fill my journal the next two weeks with a different, fascinating face, but will try for a little more diversity while here in the mountains of Mexico.
