After Minnie had over an hour an a quarter nap this morning we raced to the library for our singing with Steph and Ella. We all then went to Frankie and Benny's for lunch which was lovely. Both girls were good meaning Steph and I could have a bit of a catch up.

Home and Minnie had almost two hours of sleep meaning I could empty the ironing basket Not just emptying but actually ironing the clothes in there :) and have a tidy round. Minnie mastered walking around the kitchen with her walker. When we tried this last week it was just too fast for her little legs to keep up, but already she can do it. I'm amazed that she is not ten months yet...she blows me away with her determination.

Simon finished work early isn so we headed to the pub for dinner - we didn't take food Minnie so we could order off the kids menu for her, a bit of a first and it felt bizarre. She wolfed down sausages, mash and carrots! We then sat on the grass and watched the children play on the activity area. Driving home we saw some friends at the local pub with their 4 week old daughter. They looked pooped, it is easy to forget those first early tough weeks - simon says I wear rose tinted glasses and have already forgotten how tough it was :)
