Dragonfly on Clematis

I woke a dragonfly up this morning while watering our hanging flower basket.

I’m certain it had cold flying muscles as it quickly landed again quite nearby on a clematis vine.

My camera was inside the house, but the dragon was still warming in the sun when I returned.

With just a few gyrations, I had my blip captured early today.

A good thing as we had lots to do in the veggie garden and we’re preparing for camping tomorrow.

We are going camping with our son, future daughter-in-law, and grandson this weekend.

We’re all looking forward to our first ever camping adventure together.
