My Time Abroad

Inner City Pressure

Didn't manage to sleep in this morning but it's 11:30 pm right now and i've been up since 7 am so I think I can make it to at least 9 tomorrow.
Went back to the Albany mall this afternoon to try and get New Zealand cell phones. Turns out AT&T is the only provider out there that won't unlock a sim card under contract. But whatever, that's all complicated and I'm figuring it out. Didn't get a phone but I did get another $6 iced coffee.

Took a walking tour of the Albany area with the RA's and a few accommodation students. It was kind of useful, showed us some short cuts to get around the area faster. The weather is still awful and it rained half the tour but according to my iPhone the sun is coming out this Monday!

Later on, we went to a potluck dinner where you bring a dish representing your home country. Me n Blythe brought PB&Js cause neither of us can cook. Our flatmates don't even like peanut butter! I asked why and they said, "Cause we're not Americans".
But people did eat them at the dinner though.

Didn't make it out tonight due to the weather but me and Blythe have finally bonded with our two flatmates. We watched a rugby game with them and then they showed us some Flight of the Concords episodes <- mad funny. Cohan and Amanjot are kewl dudes.

It's very late for me. Here's to hoping yet again that I will sleep later than 7 am tomorrow morning.
