France to start with :)

What a fantastic day. We drove to Strasbourg today from Calais - a long drive but a great one.
We stopped for a lunch break and a wander at Chalons-en-Champagne, and by chance managed to see the Tour de France cyclists ride through. We had a fantastic road side view and it was such a wonderful bonus to witness the race in France.
Checked in to our hotel in Strasbourg (the Hilton no less:)), then walked to the city centre. What a beautiful city - with so many amazing buildings everywhere.
The weather started this morning at 14* with rain and ended in glorious sunshine at 27* .
