Triffids

These monsters have got to 8’6” now! I am reminded of John Whydham’s “Day of the Triffids”. I have thought about that book, too as I have visited the care home. Just like those in the book looked for others who could see, I imagine those in the home looking for others who can converse.

I tried to get The Mother’s computer on line this morning, failed miserably! Finally I rang the firm I had visited on Tuesday to make sure the machine was internet-ready. I had used the wrong words, I should have asked if it was wireless-ready! So frustrating but I will be able to get the internet running early next week.

Had to get to the supermarket to do shopping for the show we are going to tomorrow.
