Set-Up Day

I hadn’t expected to visit The Mother today but, as I had to hang around town waiting for The Man to come out of his dental appointment I thought I should take her her Radio Times. Before I left the District nurse arrived – oh, my goodness! No wonder The Mother says her feet are sore – under her bandages she had a blister the size of half an orange!

We set of for Kirkcudbright and got to the show field in good time and got set up quite quickly. That left us plenty of time to wander round, admiring the steam engines as they practiced their route for the weekend’s show. Some folk I know stood in the path of the giant – anything for a good photo!
