You'll never find a better way.....
The crowds were out today in the hot sunshine for the Huddersfield Carnival.
It's now in its 30th year, having grown from one float in the Mayor’s parade to become the largest festival in the Kirklees calendar and attracting an audience in the region of 30,000.
I had a multitude of photos to chose from but this one won the day.
The procession had been walking for about an hour in the sun and this was the steep uphill section to Greenhead Park ( Kagsy65 territory). Some of the participants were flagging in the heat, but this girl was bounding with enthusiasm.
