The little town that thought it was a city

I ventured over the border today to see the Welsh clan.

St Asaph has a population of just 3,500 but boasts having a 13th Century cathedral. Residents always believed that the town was a "city" but this was not put right until 2012 when city status was conferred on the town as part of the Queen's jubilee year.
