Snow Drift

Went for a walk up by the Glen of Imaal today. We were amazed to find that the mountains still had a lot of snow, some of the drifts were quite spectacular. It was a beautiful calm day with a mist that made for dramatic scenery.

We saw two very large herds of deer that must have come down from higher ground for the grass. The stags kept a close eye on us.

A very rewarding walk, and different from our usual trek up Lug.
