The Grandeur of a Tree

I keep passing this tree as I leave the town and vow to stop and take a photo some day. The scene with the sheep around it just remind me of those landscape paintings by artists in the 19th century.

Went to Blessington to meet a friend for lunch. We had a lovely lunch in the Lemon Tree restaurant. It was a short visit, because I am supposed to be back home studying instead of blipping!

My friend's mother is 93 years of age today. They had gone back to Dublin by the time I dropped up to wish Mona a Happy Birthday.
