Rushden's Party in the Park

There was a party in the main park in Rushden to mark the end of Get to Know Rushden Festival. It was spectacular - lots of things to do, non-stop entertainment for children and a wonderful music show featuring local school children, choirs, etc.

This is Rushden's brass band team - they were getting ready for their performance - which was wonderful and took place 5-10 minutes of my taking this photo. LARGE shows their different expressions!

It was a very hot day - a day of ice creams and cold drinks. I have placed two more pictures in the blip-folio - one of them features Auntie Rae and the second one shows a queue for ice cream.
