Waiting on the Show

Boiling hot sunshine in Edinburgh today . Small shop first, coffee stop, then ice cream lying on the grass in Princes Street Gardens before heading for a meal (Turkish) sitting outside in Rose Street.

Wander up the Grassmarket before heading over to the Usher Hall to see The National - jeez they were loud! I enjoyed it, but had to use some makeshift ear plugs just to dull the noise a little bit... I found their music quite hypnotic, especially with the strobes on the backing screen going on too. It's good to venture out of your comfort zone, sometimes:)
