For Billy

I soon gave up trying to purchase tickets for Billy Connolly on the Horsecross website (our local concert hall ). Went on to ticketmaster for one of the Glasgow shows instead and got two tickets in 10 minutes. I read that it was a bit of a fiasco with the website crashing, people getting cut off on the phone... Seems like the only winners were those going in person!

The greedy touts were winners too. There were tickets on eBay an hour later for 150 quid a ticket. There is always someone willing to pay over the odds to see their idols. I wish there was a way of stopping it so that only the real fans get the proper priced ticket.
