At what point should we be worried?

Walking in on a scene like this, I need to remind myself "he really is a bright boy", just curious I guess. Spent the day at the beach soaking in our 90 degree (F) weather. Activity level was at a very minimum for me as I battled a hopefully only 24 hr. flu bug.
