Rishton roses at The Esplanade.

I have made a collage centred on the beautiful area of Rishton known as The Esplanade.
It is tended by Hyndburn Council Parks department and they make a magnificent effort to keep the rose beds looking attractive.
I got up early to feed Arthur and to watch the Sunday morning gardening programmes on BBC2.
Beechgrove Garden is a joy to follow and I always learn new tips and get inspired by the projects they show us.
We are having a leisurely Sunday and may have a drive out to a local beauty spot in the afternoon.
The weather is blue skied and close, 24 degrees but it looks changeable.

The grandsons caught the sun at Blackpool yesterday and are staying in today.
